Fake police held in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Hanuman Junction CI DV Ramana said in a statement that they had arrested fake police for allegedly collecting money.

Speaking to media, he discloses the details to the press reporters, where CI said that N Suresh Babu and Ganesh, who belongs to Kandulapadu village in G Konduru Mandal were riding the bike, some unidentified persons with police stickers came from behind and stopped them.

They threatened them that they are police and collected Rs 5,900 as fine for not stopping the bike. Later left towards Nuzividu. On this incident, Suresh Babu filed a complaint with Agiripalli police station on Saturday. On receiving the information, ASI Srinivas Rao has initiated the investigation.

During the vehicle check at Ganapavaram Adda road near Sobhanapuram on Sunday, the police found two under suspicion for driving the bike without a number plate. B Nagaraju (33) and B Vamsi (19) were taken into custody. In the inquiry, both have admitted the crime. SI P Kishor, ASI Srinivas Rao, and other police staff were present during the press conference.
