Family of four committed suicide in Nandikotkur

Kurnool: Four persons of a family have committed suicide after hanging in their residence at Nandikotkur on Tuesday late night. The deceased was identified as Veeranjaneyulu (28), his wife Vasantha (25), daughter Rama Lakshmi (7) and son Rajesh (5).

According to sources, the deceased couple were known to be eking livelihood as daily wage labours. They were said to be happily living with two children, but have taken extreme decision to end their lives. With the thought, the couple first hanged the children and later they also hanged on the noose, as per the version of Nandikotkur police.

The police have also said the incident has come to light on Wednesday morning through the incident has taken place on Tuesday late night.

However, the actual reasons for committing suicide is not known. The facts will come to fore after a thorough investigation, said the police.
