Fast Approaching Hikaa Cyclone May Trigger Heavy Rainfalls In Telugu States
The depression In is moving rapidly towards the westward of the Indian coast and towards the centre of the Arabian Sea has developed a storm. The storm has been named 'Hikaa'. The authorities of the weather department have said that the storm would weaken a couple of days back. But the latest reports suggest that the Cyclone which was named as Hikaa is likely to enter the Indian coastline at any time in the next 24 hours. With this, the two Telugu states would have moderate to high rainfalls in various places.
However, the rains in the Andhra Pradesh are still continuing and with the cyclone, the rainfall may be increased. The authorities have warned the people of low lying areas along the coastal region to be cautious and fishermen are not allowed to enter into sea for fishing. The Hikka Cyclone is reportedly have reached Oman on Thursday night and is heading to Indian coastline.
