FCI opens regional office

Vijayawada: The new regional office of FCI was inaugurated by its Regional General Manager Amresh Kumar here on Sunday.The pooja ceremony was attended by its deputy general managers Ratna Prasad, Sridevi Raju and area manager Ranga Prasad Naik and rice millers.

After bifurcation of the state, FCI has started its operations by creating a new regional office at Amravati.In this connection, Amrish Kumar assured that FCI will strive for procurement of custom milled rice and pulses by coordinating with AP state government.
