Fire and police personnel rescues three persons stuck in the flood waters at Revanur village.

Kurnool: The fire department and police personnel have rescued three persons that were struck in the flood waters at Revanur village in Nandyal. With the unexpected heavy rains, Rivers like Vakkileru Vagu Kundu River and other streams in Allagadda, Sirivella and Nandyal were flowing to its brim. The low lying areas were fully submerged with flood waters. Several colonies in Nandyal were unindated by the rain water. Knee deep water was seen flowing on the streets. The residents are taking pains to save essential articles as well as commodities.

However, the district administration has put all department officials on alert and the residents are warned not to come out without taking the help of rescue operation personnel. Allagadda and Sirvella mandals have received abnormal rainfall of 227 and 226 mm respectively.
