Foreign currency in Annavaram hundis

Rajamahendravaram: Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy Temple Executive Officer MV Suresh Babu on Monday stated that the devotees from various countries offered foreign currency also.

In total, the revenue collected through hundis of temple earned an income of Rs 63,00,429 of which currency is Rs 59,62,827 and coins are Rs 3,37,602. As many as 36 grams of gold and 675 grams of silver were also offered by the devotees. The hundi collections were counted on Monday for the period from July 15 to August 5.
