Foreign delegates on study tour to Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: About 38 delegates from 25 countries belonging to International Centre for Information System and Audit (iCISA) made a visit to Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Thursday as a part of the 148th international training programme on the 'Audit of State-owned Enterprises'.

Director (Finance) RINL-VSP V V Venugopala Rao while welcoming the team explained the know-how incorporated in the plant and the production facilities of the integrated steel plant.

He also explained the current scenario of the steel industry in the country. N V B Rama Sarma, DGM (F&A) IA and SV, Anita S Rama Chandra, Director (Commercial Audit) and Sai Shankar, Deputy Director, Commercial Audit accompanied the delegates during the visit.

Later, they visited the Steel Museum, awards gallery and major production units in the plant. The delegates were highly impressed by the greenery developed in the plant.
