Update: 2019-10-17 10:22 IST

TDP Senior Leader and former Chittoor Zilla Parishad Chairman M. Subramanya Reddy prepared to join the YCP. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to have given the green signal for his inclusion. Subramaniam Reddy held talks with District Ministers Pedreddy Ramachandra Reddy and Narayanaswamy.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy joins Subramanya Reddy in the YCP to strengthen the YCP in the Kuppam assembly constituency, represented by opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu.

He was a close friend of the then Chief Minister YS Rashekhara Reddy. After the formation of the YCP led by Jagan. Subramanya Reddy resigned as Zilla Parishad chairman and joined the YCP. He joined the TDP in 2017 under pressure from former minister N Amarnath Reddy.

He said he had made a mistake after leaving the YCP after eight years of association with the party. "Soon i will be joining the YSRP." Subramanya asserted.
