Free multispecialty camp held in Burripalem

Vijayawada: Andhra Hospitals organised a free multispecialty camp at Burripalem in association with cine hero Mahesh Babu on the occasion of his birthday on Friday. All specialties including Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, ENT, Cardiology and Orthopaedics were done for children and adults in the camp.

Relevant tests were done and medicines were distributed to all patients. The patients who need further consultation and investigations were advised to come to Andhra Hospitals for free consultation and treatment.

Dr P V Rama Rao, chief of children's services and director of Andhra Hospitals said that they started conducting awareness and health camp for the patients since 2016, and this is the 24th camp in the village.

He said that the aim was to develop this village as model health village in Andhra Pradesh. Doctors Amar Kumar, Sai, Pavan, Veena, Y Ramesh, pharmacy and lab technicians participated in the camp.
