Fundamental rights, duties come together: Dist Judge

Ongole: Those who deliver their duties and responsibilities with commitment are eligible to enjoy the rights, said District Judge and District Legal Services Authority chairperson P Venkata Jyothirmayi. She participated in the celebration of Social Justice Day and awareness programme on fundamental duties for the Brahmakumaris held in Ongole on Thursday.

The judge said that any common person can approach the Supreme Court through a public interest litigation, when they observe a violation of their fundamental rights. They can utilise the services of district legal services authority for finding an amicable solution to the issues and legal problems. She said that fundamental rights attract fundamental duties. Everyone can practice their favorite religion following the Constitution.

Additional district judge S Ramesh, Ch Rajagopal Rao, SMF Fazululla, senior civil judges B Sobha Kumari, S Jayalakshmi, junior civil judge Pallavi, Srivani, B Kanakalakshmi, members and organisers of the Brahmakumaris and bank employees also participated in the programme.
