Gaiety marks Bal Vikas Day in Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam: As part of the 94th birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, 'Bal Vikas Day' was celebrated at Sri Sathya Sai Prem Sadan Mandir here on Friday. Children belonging to Bal Vikas chanted slokas and later presented dance on Ganesh and his role as an effective communicator.
A dance drama titled 'Maa palleku raa swami' (Swami please come to our village) was performed by the children who were getting benefited by free tuitions located at Seethammadhara. 'Nandakumaram', 'Dhimsa' and devotional song 'Aigiri Nandini' presented by the students was one of the highlights of the day.
A talk was delivered by a Bal Vikas student about the significance of various important events of Sri Sathya Sai Baba's childhood. Those who were selected for zonal level competitions were given certificates. City Seva Samiti convener P R S N Naidu, Shrimati Devi, among others were present.
