Gaiety marks Ramanavami celebrations

Vijayawada: Sri Rama Navami celebration were celebrated in a grand manner at various centres in the city on Sunday. The officials and public took part actively in the event with devotional spirit.On the occasion, various temples offered special pujas and rituals at the temple premises.

The temple management committees erected special pandals to perform marriage for Lord Rama and Sita. Several colony committees also celebrated the festival in a grand manner. The temples were thronged with devotees from morning hours.

The Sita Rama temples at Patamata, Autonagar, RTC Colony, Bhavanipuram, Nagarala Sitarama Swamy temple, Kasturibaipet, Beasent Road and several areas in the city performed the Sitarama Kalyanam in a grand manner.
