Gain grip over changing tech, students told by GM Adesh Kumar

Rajamahendravaram: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Rajamahendravaram Asset General Manager Adesh Kumar has said that radical changes were coming in the field of technology very fast in the world.

Participating in a conference on 'Industry 4.0 Adaption and Innovation' held on the premises of Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) under the aegis of MBA department here on Thursday, he said that it was the duty of the students to enhance their knowledge in the changing technology which is the need of the hour.

Seminars, workshops and conferences help a lot to the students, he said and advised them to participate in the programmes for their better future. Many technological changes came in ONGC for three years and ONGC is using advanced technology. Knowing about changes in technology from time to time is a continuous process for students and asked them to increase competitive spirit.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Kakinada management studies head Prof A Krishna Mohan said radical changes in the field of technology will come by the year 2030. Using virtual reality through laser shows distance objectives can be seen near. MBA department chief Dr PRK Rajum, professors PMMS Rao, Vamsi Krishna, KVMadhavi and others were present.
