German team discusses women welfare with CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Amaravati
Amaravati: German Consul General (Chennai) Karin Christina Maria Stoll met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office in Tadepalli on Monday. The Chief Minister welcomed the German delegation and presented a shawl to Christina .
They discussed many issues related to women's welfare, education, and Rythu Bharosa centres.
The Chief Minister specially asked her about the German education system and how skilling centres worked there. Also present in the meeting was founder and executive chairman of Cyient Technologies B V Mohan Reddy.
The Consul General earlier had a meeting with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) representatives in Vijayawada. She had discussions related to Indo-German ties. Later, Karin Christina Maria Stoll called on Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney at the Secretariat. She discussed with the Chief Secretary the investment in the priority sector in the state by various German firms. They also discussed education, culture and tourism sectors along with the German firms who are already functioning in the state.
Nilam Sawhney told the Consul General that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy had been giving utmost priority for providing infrastructure facilities in education and medical services.
