Good news for unemployed youth as Andhra Pradesh govt to fill 11000 vacancies in police department
The unemployed in AP will soon hear another good news. The police recruitment board is preparing to recruit vacant police jobs in the state. As part of this, the government forwarded proposals of over 11,500 posts. Of these, 340 are Sub Inspector (SI) posts. There are 11,356 constable posts.
The police recruitment board has handed over details of vacancies in the police department to the government in the wake of the job calendar coming out in January next year.
Last year, the Police Appointment Board issued a notification for the recruitment of jobs for 3 thousand. Once the recruitment process is complete. The Police Recruitment Board will once again focus on filling up the vacancies.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced that the police will be given weekly offs during the election campaign. From June 19, police officers from across the state are availing weekly off. Against this backdrop, 30 per cent of the staff needs to be hired for future needs. The police department is making preparations to fill the vacancies needed to this extent. The proposal was forwarded to the state government for the recruitment of the posts in a phased manner.
