Goods train derailed in Rayagada district, 8 trains canceled, 5 diverted
Visakhapatnam: A goods train has derailed in the neighbouring state of AP near Doyikallu railway station in Rayagada district of Odisha.
In the preliminary report, the officials said that due to the heavy rains in the upper Odisha region, the track got damage with the floodwater. In this context, the officials have cancelled eight trains, and five others diverted at midnight.
Responding over the incident, the railway authorities have speed up the track restoration works.

Sambalpur-Koraput passenger, Koraput-Sambalpur passenger, Sambalpur-Junagarh Road passenge, Junagarh-Sambalpur passenge, Rajgangpur-Visakha passenge, Visakha-Rajgangpur passenge, Sambalpur-Rayagada intercity express, Rayagada-Sambalpur express.
