Government committed to Brahmins welfare: Kona Raghupati

Guntur: Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Kona Raghupati assured that the government led by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will solve all the problems of Brahmins and implement welfare schemes for their uplift.

Andhra Pradesh Brahmana Sankshema Sangam leaders felicitated Kona Raghupati and MLA Malladi Vishu at a programme held at Hotel Sindhuri in Guntur city on Sunday.

Speaking on this occasion, he recalled that the government was committed to the welfare of Brahmins and allotted Rs 100 crore to AP Brahmins Welfare Corporation to implement welfare schemes for Brahmins welfare.

He added the government will allot Rs 234 crore for Dhupa Deepa Naivedyams and suggested the Brahmins to venture into business. Vijayawada Central MLA Malladi Vishnu assured that he will resolve all the problems of Brahmins and added the AP Brahmins Welfare Corporation will start functioning from August 1 and give pensions and implement welfare schemes for Brahmins welfare.

He urged the Brahmins to avail the welfare schemes implemented through Brahmins Welfare Corporation. Later, APBSS leaders felicitated Kona Raghupati and Malladi Vishnu.
