Government committed to uplift of women: Deputy Chief Minister

Eluru: Deputy Chief Minister Alla Nani has said that the state government will introduce various schemes for the financial self-sufficiency of women in all fields. YSRCP women wing leader Balatripura Sundari brought to his notice about various problems confronted by women at his camp office here on Thursday.

Responding on the problems briefed by her, Nani said that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy was keen on strengthening the financial status of women. The government would help women grow financially and live with self-confidence and self-respect. Employment opportunities would be created for women besides boosting them to set up small scale industries.

The government would also focus on involving women in industrial development so that they can also manufacture products. As part of Navaratnalu, women would be encouraged to achieve financial self-sufficiency.

The deputy CM called upon women to admit their children in schools as the government is ready to offer Rs 15,000 financial help under Amma Vodi scheme. The government would also improve the schools run by it.
