Government embarks on Aarogyandhra Pradesh
Tirupati: Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Health, family welfare and medical education Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas (Nani) reviewed various medical and health issues with all medical officers in the district and district officials at a meeting organised at SVU senate hall in Tirupati on Saturday. Constituency wise infrastructure and cadre strength were reviewed by him.
The Dy Chief Minister has said that with an aim to achieve Aarogyandhra Pradesh, the CM has allocated RS.1200 cr in budget for medical and health department.
A thorough study will be made to analyse various problems in government hospitals at all levels and serious efforts will be put to resolve them. All mandala in the state will be provided with new 108, 104 vehicles along with equipment and staff to provide better services to the poor.
Another deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy, Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, MLA B Karunakar Reddy, DM&HO Dr B Rama Giddaiah, DCHS Dr P Saralamma, Principal Secretary K Jawahar Reddy, Collector Dr N Bharat Gupta and all PHC and CHC medical officers were present.
