Government striving for employment to youth: Minister Vellampalli Srinivas
Vijayawada: Endowment Minister Vellampalli Srinivas said that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is working to provide full-fledged employment to the unemployed youth of the state.
The minister participated as chief guest at the mega job mela organised by the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) at KBN College on Saturday. Hundreds of youth from Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam districts participated in the job mela.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that the Chief Minister is striving to develop the state industrially and provide employment to the youth in the state. He said that APSSDC was training the youth in their skills and providing employment and the youth should make use of the opportunities.
He further said that the YSRCP government would provide welfare schemes to all communities in the state and a few steps have been taken regarding the same. He recalled that the former CM YS Rajasekara Reddy had introduced fee reimbursement scheme which has increased literacy in the state.
He appealed to the youth to attend the interview boldly. APSSDC ED Hanuma Naik, Krishna district officer P Pranay, Guntur officer Bajibabu, college management, staff and others were present.
