Government To Procure Pulses To Ensure Minimum Support Price to Farmers

The government will start procuring pulses from farmers from the 15th of this month. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered the officials on procurement of pulses to ensure the purchase of crops with a price stabilization fund when farmers do not get a price.

With this, Markfed has taken steps to buy the pulses at 31 buying centres across the state. After YS Jagan became CM, the company has released Rs.333 crore t procure pulses.

To prevent the loss to the actual farmers, E-cropping should be taken regularly, and farmers should register their names on or before October 15.
