Government to provide basic amenities to students of govt-run schools from next academic year

Jagan govt has good news for students of government-run schools. The government will provide every student with books, uniforms and pocket money. A review of the school education and mid-day meal plan with the chief education officials, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made key suggestions to the authorities.

It was decided that each student should be provided with school bags, notebooks, textbooks, three pairs of uniforms, a pair of shoes and socks. These will be given to students from the next academic year. The school bag and notebooks kit are included in addition to the previously announced amenities. Uniforms are paid for the purchase of crochet, pair of shoes and socks. The rest of the items are delivered in kits. After the summer vacation, these are offered before the schools start.

With the introduction of English Medium from 1st to 6th grade in government schools from next year, the new syllabus on the CMB has been discussed with officials. It was decided to conduct the bridge courses before equipping the children to the English medium. The Chief Minister has instructed to introduce bridge courses for students every month at the beginning of the academic year. It is decided that this policy should be implemented as students in grades 3, 4 and 5 are currently studying in Telugu.

"The British Council will be involved in training the teachers. The Singapore government will cooperate in the best educational programs," the CM said. The University of Chicago is partnering with the state government to make Mathematics easier. Teachers are also preparing to train.

The chief minister pics were taken at lunch. Officials have been ordered to ensure that the students have a vegetarian biryani and chicken with a daily menu. It is suggested to look into the matter of giving milk one day a week. The quality of the mid-day meal should not be eaten.
