Government to set up Kendriya Vidyalaya at Irlapadu

Guntur: The Central government has decided to set up Kendriya Vidyalaya at Irlapadu in Nadendla mandal of Guntur district at a cost of Rs 20 crore. Addressing a press meet held at Chialakaluriet on Saturday, MLA Vidadala Rajani said that the government has already allotted 8.22 acres of land for the construction of Kendraiya Vidyalaya.

She said that she will try to give admission not only to children of central government employees, but also to the state government staff. She said she had taken initiative to allot land for the construction Kendriya Vidyalaya.

She further said that classes were started at CR College Bhavan temporarily for this academic year for Classes 1 to 5. Local YSRCP leader G Srinivasa Reddy was also present.
