Eluru: The state government will not spoil the livelihood of roadside vendors unless they are obstacles to traffic, clarified Deputy Chief Minister Alla Nani.He responded positively to the roadside petty businesses when a family approached him complaining that during previous government, they were not allowed to set up a tea stall on roadside.

As a result, the family passed through a difficult time, the members of the family lamented. The family members met the Dy CM and informed him that they had been maintaining a tea stall on roadside at CR Reddy College here for several years. However, the TDP government did not let them continue their livelihood.

They requested Nani to allow them to continue their tea stall. Responding positively, Nani assured that he would persuade officials not to trouble families getting livelihood by doing petty businesses on roadside, provided they are not creating hurdles for traffic.
