Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy extend Christmas greetings
Vijayawada: Governor of Andhra Pradesh Biswabhusan Harichandan and Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in a Christmas message conveyed their greetings to members of the Christian fraternity and the people of Andhra Pradesh.
The Governor said, "Christmas is a time of joyous remembrance of Jesus Christ. It is also an occasion to cherish the teachings of Jesus of bonds of love, tolerance, and compassion, among all people in the world. The life of Jesus Christ is a source of inspiration to all of us to lead a life of virtue and faith."
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that love for fellow human beings, compassion for the helpless, limitless patience, boundless sacrifice, peaceful coexistence, forgiveness even for the enemies were the extraordinary messages that Christ had given to the world. Jagan hoped that the teachings of Christ would help people walk in the path of righteousness.
The Governor and the Chief Minister urged the people to strictly follow health guidelines and ensure that they wear masks and maintain social distance while celebrating Christmas.
