Govt to develop Kondaveedu Fort as world class tourist centre: MLA Vidadala Rajini
Guntur: Chilakaluripet MLA Vidadala Rajini assured that the state government will develop historical Kondaveedu Fort as world-class tourist centre.
She set the foundation stone for the construction of power substation at a cost of Rs 3.5 crore at Kondaveedu Fort under Yadlapadu mandal of Guntur district on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, she expressed confidence that the government would develop Kondaveedu Fort in the coming four years to attract national and international tourists.
She further said the substation will provide necessary power to historical fort and Puttakota and Kothapalem villages near the fort.
She said residents of the villages will get quality power.
Central Power Distribution Company officials A Murali Krishna, G Srinivasa Reddy, K Rama Naidu, were among those participated.
