Tirupati: Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan lambasted the government for trying to kill the Telugu language. He said that there were several schools in other languages like Urdu, Kannada, Tamil, Bengali etc., but government focussed its target on Telugu schools only, which is very unfortunate.
When one is perfect in the mother tongue, he can understand other languages easily. Without looking for any government response, the movement has to be taken forward in the form of workshops etc., after chalking out a programme with Telugu think-tank. Tirupati meeting would be a first one in that direction, he said. He has felicitated all the scholars participated in the meeting.
