Gowthami Sali takes charge as Additional SP in Kurnool

Kurnool: Gowthami Sali has assumed the charge as new Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Administration of Kurnool district on Saturday.

After assuming the charge, she addressed media persons. Gowthami Sali said that before becoming an IPS officer in 2015, she was a software engineer. She had worked ASP at Bobbili, subdivision of Vizianagaram district.

Gowthami Sali further said that she will discharge duties with utmost responsibility and as per directions of higher officials. Gowthami Sali said, she hails from a farmer family from Pedda Kanneli village near Kalahasti in Chittoor district and she got her education in Chittoor district, studied engineering at SV University. While working with cognizing technology solutions in Chennai, she had prepared for civil services. But to serve the people, she has chosen the police department, she added.
