Grama Sachivalayam System is Footstep for Grama Swarajya: Eluru Collector
Eluru: Collector Revu Muthiyalaraju said that the village secretariat system would start functioning from Wednesday, fulfilling the aspirations of achieving the 'village Swarajya'. Already 666 ministries have been prepared for 938 village ministries in the district and an internet connection for 794 secretaries. The Collector said that all the employees selected for the village secretaries in the zone would participate in the inauguration.
The Collector added that 4,475 persons had been issued with postings. He said that the recruitment process is underway about ANMs and that the postings will be given by October 3. Non-local candidates who have applied from other districts are not joining the job because they have got jobs in their respective districts.
Ready to Implement Raithu Bharaosa
The Collector said 3.27 lakh beneficiaries had been identified so far. Of these, 3.05 lakh are farmers, and 21,900 are landless cultivators. He said data entry is underway and will publish lists on the 5th and receive objections. The final list will be announced the same day after receiving complaints up to 8. Already, 11,903 people have been eligible, and 546 have been disqualified, the Collector said.
