Green initiative at Durga temple begins in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: To create a spiritual ambience for the devotees visiting Durga temple, the temple Executive Officer V Koteswaramma decided to develop greenery at all possible places on the hill.

In this connection, the EO inaugurated the greenery works at Sivalayam atop Indrakeeladri with the donations given by a donor, S Satish on Sunday.

The donor, Satish of Adithya Infra Landscaping and Developers, had taken up the greenery work with an estimated cost of Rs 80,000.

The first sapling was planted by the temple EO Koteswaramma on the occasion.
