95% government schools upload Amma Vodi applications 

Guntur: School teachers have hectic activity as the last date for submission of application for Amma Vodi scheme was December 15. All the government and private schools have set up separate counters for receiving applications for Amma Vodi scheme. The teachers were checking if all the necessary documents were submitted. The student transferred from should delink their Aadhar in the previous school and link to the new school. The teachers and staff in the school were continuously uploading the Amma Vodi applications as per instructions of the government.

According to sources from the education department, officials informed that first list of beneficiaries would be displayed on December 16 in the schools and concerned ward secretariats. They will take objections on the first list and incorporate the objections in the list and prepare second list which will be displayed on December 20. They will receive objections on the second list from December 21 to 26. Final list will be announced on December 29.

The school HMs will submit the final list to the DEO on December 30. The DEOs will send the list to the district collectors for taking further action.

Speaking to 'The Hans India', District Education Officer RS Ganga Bhavani said, "We have updated 95 percent of information relating to Amma Vodi scheme in all the government schools in the district. The teachers will upload the remaining applications by December 14. Private schools must upload the applications. I have instructed the headmasters to submit declaration stating they have uploaded 100 percent applications for the Amma Vodi scheme by December 14."

Municipal Teachers Federation state president S Rama Krishna demanded that the government extend the last date for submitting applications till December 25. At present, teachers were busy in transfers. After completion of transfer process, the teachers will concentrate on Amma Vodi scheme. At present, server was not working properly. As a result, the teachers were facing lot of problems to upload the applications, he said.
