The temple staff counted the cash. According to sources, comparing to last year, the temple received less income through Hundi collections on the occasion of Maha Shivatratri festivities.
During the 2019, the temple received over Rs 40 lakh through the Hundi collections. During this year, the temple received Rs 10 lakh less income though the Hundi collections. It may be due to agitations to stop shifting of state capital Amaravathi, the temple sources said.
