Guntur: Disha Mahila Police Station to be inaugurated soon

Guntur: First Disha Mahila Police Station will come up in the Guntur urban police district at Nagarampalem in Guntur city. The officials are racing against time to complete the police station works as early as possible.

It will be inaugurated very soon. It may be recalled that the State government decided to set up 18 Disha Police Stations in the State. Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita inaugurated the first Disha Police Station in Narasaraopet in Guntur rural police district. Meanwhile, the government has taken steps to take stern action against the accused in the rape cases.

The Disha App released by the government got a good response and so far over one lakh women downloaded the app.
