Guntur: Maha Shivaratri festivities from Feb 18 to 24

Guntur: Maha Shivaratri festivities in Sri Amareswara Swamy temple in Amaravati will be conducted from February 18 to 24.The temple authorities have already released schedule of the programmes to be conducted.

According to temple executive officer K Sunil Kumar, Balachamundika Sametha Sri Amareswara Swamy will be made bridegroom on February 18.

On February 19, Vigneshwara Puja and Vastu homam will be performed. On February 20, Pulivahanam and Pallaki Gramotsavam will be conducted. On February 21, special pujas will be performed on the occasion of Maha Sivaratri to Lord Shiva since 4 am in the temple. Similarly, on February 22, Gramotsavam and on February 23, Divya Rathotsavam will be performed. On February 24, Churnotsavam, Vasanthotsavam and Purnahuti will be conducted.
