Guntur: MP Galla Jayadev unhappy over non-spending of MPLADS funds
Guntur: MP Galla Jayadev expressed serious concern for not using Rs 2.5 crore funds released from his MPLADS to the GGH in the backdrop of increase of Covid-19 cases.
He addressed a meeting held at the GGH here on Monday. He questioned why funds were not fully utilized.GGH superintendent Dr K Sudhakar explained that they have used Rs 60 lakh and they are waiting for administrative order to use another Rs 50 lakh.
The MP said that Covid-19 is in the second phase in the world. He felt that Covid-19 cases are increasing in the country after lifting the lockdown. He suggested the people to take precautionary measures to check spread of Covid-19. He expressed serious concern for police officials' behaviour with the TDP deputy floor leader in the state Legislative Assembly K Achannaidu. He said he has written letter to the judicial officials for permission to meet K Atchannaidu. He said he will continue in the TDP and fight on people's problems.
GGH superintendent Dr K Sudhakar said that steps will be taken to render better medical services in the hospital.
