Guntur: Opposition encouraging violence in Delhi, alleges BJP
Guntur: BJP national general secretary P Muralidhara Rao criticised the opposition, Maoists and forces opposing the CAA for encouraging violence in Delhi lowering the image of the country at the time when US President Donald Trump was visiting the country.
He was addressing a meeting conducted under the aegis of SC, ST Morchas at Guntur Convention Centre here on Wednesday to create awareness on the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.
Unable to face Prime Minister Narendra Modi politically, he said, the Congress party was conducting a false propaganda against the Central government. The Centre did not mention about Muslims in the CAA-2019.
He challenged that if anybody proved a single line against the Muslims in the CAA, he would quit politics.
Instead of concentrating on administration, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was indulging in politics. Jagan Mohan Reddy during the interaction with Narendra Modi said that he would abolish State Legislative Council and set up three capitals, he recalled.
BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana lambasted the Congress for conducting false propaganda against the BJP government. BJP national general secretary (Sanghatana) SatishJi, State affairs in-charge Suneel V Deodhar, MLC P V N Madhav, party State vice-president T Nagabhushanam were among those present.
