Guntur: Orientation for freshers in CIT-Polytechnic
Guntur: Chalapathi Institute of Technology-Polytechnic at Mothadaka in Guntur district has conducted 'orientation programme' for 1st year Diploma students on Wednesday by observing Covid-19 norms.
YV Anjaneyulu, chairman of the Chalapathi Group of Institutes in his opening remarks on this occasion stressed the need of importance to develop practical skills among the Diploma students. He emphasised about the need of dedication, discipline and determination by the diploma students to success.
MLC KS Lakshman Rao, who was the chief guest, urged the students to follow five personality skills such as emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual and discipline.
He dealt about various opportunities for the polytechnic students like opting for higher education through ECET, getting junior engineer positions in various government and private organisations, developing as an entrepreneur. He also gave the glimpses of successful people who started their career with polytechnic.
Vice-principal of Chalapathi Institute of Technology Prof K Naga Sreenivasa Rao stressed on various important aspects of polytechnic course. Principal of the polytechnic Prof L Uday Kiran welcomed the gathering and briefed about the college salient features. The staff members, parents and students attended the programme.
