Guntur: Regional Director of Municipal Administration Karanam Venkateswarlu told the returning officers they are responsible for holding elections successfully till the completion of votes counting in the municipal elections.

He conducted training to the officials attending election duties along with GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha in the GMC council hall on Tuesday.

Speaking on this occasion, he instructed the officials to coordinate with the police officials as per norms and directed the officials to be more alert while discharging their duties. He warned that he would not tolerate negligence in discharging their duties. He said, after completion of list, the ballot papers will be printed.
