Guntur: Rich tributes paid to Potti Sriramulu

Guntur: Joint Collector Dinesh Kumar on Sunday garlanded the statue of Potti Sriramulu at GMC Guest House and paid glowing tributes to him.

Addressing the gathering, he reminded the people of the supreme sacrifice made by the latter to mount pressure on the government to form a separate state for Telugu-speaking people. Speaking on the occasion of his death anniversary, he said that it was the responsibility of everybody to remember his sacrifices.

GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha urged the youth to follow footsteps of Potti Sriramulu. Guntur RDO Bhaskar Reddy, Tahsildar Mohan were among those participated.
