Guntur: TDP leaders visit capital region, slams government for stalling development
Guntur: Gutnur MP Galla Jayadev here on Wednesday said the banks had decided not to sanction loans for the construction of State capital Amaravati after the YSRCP government came to power.
He said several banks came forward to sanction loans for the construction of State capital Amaravati when N Chandrababu Naidu was the Chief Minister. The farmers had given 35,000 acres for construction of the State capital. He wondered what the State government would tell the farmers.
He said Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was not taking forward the construction of the capital. Only quarters for IAS officers were construction in 1.5 lakh square feet.
TDP deputy floor leader in the State Assembly K Atchannaidu said not a single brick was laid for the construction of the capital.
MLC A S Rama Krishna, P Ashok Babu, former Ministers P Narayana, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao,TDP leaders Panchumarti Anuradha, were among those visited the capital region.
