Guntur: Three capitals to check regional imbalances

Guntur: YSRCP government decided to set up three capitals to check regional imbalances in the State, said YSRCP Guntur Parliament constituency president Lella Appa Reddy.

Addressing a meeting held here on Tuesday, he said that even students from the far away Rayalaseema districts were coming to Guntur city in large numbers and joining in the corporate college because Guntur was developed. He felt that in order to check regional imbalances, there was a need to set up three capitals in the State.

The YSRCP leader alleged that when the State Legislative Assembly passing important Bills, the Legislative Council was blocking the Bills and obstructing the development. Taking this into consideration, the State Assembly passed a resolution abolishing Legislative Council.

YSRCP students wing president P Chaitanya was also present on the occasion.
