Guntur: Two engineering students held for blackmailing minor girl

Guntur: Guntur Urban police have arrested two engineering students on charge of blackmailing a minor girl studying into submission.

According to Guntur Disha Police Station DSP A Lakshminarayana, Varun, Kaushik, studying engineering in an Engineering College in Guntur city befriended the minor girl and continue to his friendship with her for the last three years.

He took her to a secluded place where he gave her soft drink laced with sedatives.

When she fell unconscious, he took videos of her and posted on WhatsApp. He blackmailed for the last three years. Similarly, Kaushik also blackmailed her.

The parents of the minor girl, on learning about the incident, lodged a complaint with the police. The police arrested the two students.
