Lakshminarayana reiterated that the BJP would have alliance with the Jana Sena Party in the local body elections. "BJP Mahila Morcha in-charge Daggubati Purandeswari will lead the party election committee for local elections. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government issued vicious GOs to send those who distribute liquor and cash in the elections to jail. Ruling party will use these GOs as weapons against the opposition in the elections," he alleged.

He said if village or ward volunteers lodges a complaint, the candidates will be sent to jail. It is shame on the government to issue such undemocratic GOs.

He criticised that the YSRCP government did nothing in the last eight months of its rule except imposing additional financial burden on people. He urged the leaders to work for the victory of the party candidates.

He said except for Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSRCP leaders, nobody is happy with the government. People lost confidence on both the ruling and opposition parties in the state, he added.

MLCs Somu Veerraju and P V N Madhav, Tobacco Board chairman Yadlapati Raghunath Babu, former minister Ravela Kishore Babu were among those participated.
