The BJP national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao have reiterated that the capital issues don't fall into the Centre's purview. It has to be decided by the state government and chief minister. The capital can be located anywhere in the state without the Centre's intervention.

However, GVL has said that as the political party we fight against the YSRCP, but when it comes to the decisions, we go by constitutional laws. He also found fault with some of the leader's comments who are saying that the Centre would stall the three capital proposal. "It's completely wrong," GVL opined.

The Center on Tuesday reacted to the capital issue in Andhra Pradesh. The union minister Nithyanand Rai has given a written reply to the TDP MP Galla Jayadev's question on the three capitals. He said the state has every right to relocate its capital.
