Heavy rains lash Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: The people got a sigh of relief from high temperatures as heavy rain lashed the city here on Thursday evening. Many low-lying areas such as Tummalava, Innispeta, Krishna Nagar.

Sitampeta, Aryapuram and Ramachandraraopeta submerged in the rainwater. Drain water also came on the roads as silt was not cleared in many drains.
