Hewlett Packard to set up Centre of Excellence in Tirupati

Tirupati: Hewlett Packard (HP) Enterprise has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Agastya International Foundation (AIF) to set up a fully equipped Centre of Excellence (CoE) at its campus in Gudupalli.

Focused on skilling students in emerging technologies to develop their skills and knowledge in the areas of IoT and computer programming. The facility will provide students with access to advanced IT solutions that are at the leading edge of technology innovation in the agricultural sector to achieve higher food production from finite land resources.

For enrolment of students, AIF will identify and select underprivileged, undergraduate computer science or engineering students around Gudupalli. Under the guidance of IoT experts from HP, these students will have the opportunity to work with soil fertility experts on agriculture related projects. HP Vice President Sanjay Mujoo and AIF founder Chairman Ramji Raghavan have signed the agreement.
