High Court issues notice to newly constructed TDP office in Mangalagiri
Legal implications have come to the recently opened TDP national office in Mangalgiri. The High Court has issued notices on the public interest litigation filed by Mangalagiri YCP MLA Ramakrishna Reddy on the construction of the office. The PIL stated that the TDP office was built to occupy state land. The court had issued notices to the AP government as well as the district collector and the TDP party.
The new office was constructed at Atmakur of Mangalagiri Mandal and was inaugurated on December 6 by Chandrababu and Nara Lokesh.
Manglagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy has approached the High Court seeking to dismantle the new TDP office constructed at Atmakur in Mangalagiri. He filed a public interest Litigation. In the petition, the MLA said that the previous state government had issued a lease of 3.65 acres in Survey No. 392 for 99 years, which is illegal and alleged that TDP is trying to occupy the land.
He included the Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department, the CCLA Secretary, the AP CRDA Commissioner, the District Collector and the President of the Telugu Desam Party as respondents. The PIL came for hearing on Monday, and the court has issued notices.
