High court to continue hearing on petitions over Chandrababu's arrest in Visakhapatnam

The high court on Monday is due to hear the various petitions such as petition on reservations in local body elections and the petition filed by TDP leader Shravan regarding the police and government's act against the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.

The court, which found fault on the police for arresting Chandrababu Naidu at Visakhapatnam airport on Thursday while he was holding a tour to Vizianagaram as part of Praja Chaitanya Yatra against the YSRCP government policies is due to continue it's hearing on Monday.

Earlier, when the former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu who landed in Visakhapatnam for a massive rally was obstructed by the YSRCP cadre and was pelted stones and tomatoes at his convoy. Later, the police have arrested him under section 51 of CrPC citing security measures. However, it remains to be seen, what court would comment on these two petitions.
