High temperatures in parts of AP State forecast

Vijayawada: As the summer intensifies, high temperature reaching up to 48 degree Celsius are forecast in some parts of the State in the next four days.

According to Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA), the temperature hover between 41 and 48 degree Celsius in most parts of the State in next four days.

On May 22, maximum temperature is likely to be between 45 and 47 degree Celsius at few places in Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam and East Godavari districts.

The temperature is likely to be in the range of 43-44 degree Celsius at few places in West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore and Chittoor districts. It can be between 41 and 42 degree Celsius in Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur districts.

On May 23, maximum temperature is likely between 46 and 48 degree Celsius in few areas in the districts of Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Visakhapatnam.

Maximum temperature is likely to be between 43 and 45 degree Celsius in few areas in West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore, Kurnool and Chittoor district. The temperature may be between 40 and 42 degree Celsius in few places in Kadapa, Chittor and Anantapur districts.

On May 24, maximum temperature is likely in the range of 44-46 degree Celsius in some places of Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore districts.

Maximum temperature will be likely between 42 and 43 degree Celsius in East Godavari, West Godavari and Chittoor districts. The temperatures are very likely to be between 39 and 42 degree Celsius in Srikakulam, Anantapur, Kadapa and Kurnool districts.

On May 25, maximum temperature is likely in the range of 43-43 degree Celsius in some places of Prakasam, Nellore and Chittoor districts.

Maximum temperature is likely be in the range of 41-42 degree Celsius in some places in Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, West Godavari, East Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur districts and in the range of 38-39 degree Celsius in some parts of Srikakulam district.

High temperature above 41 degree Celsius was recorded in many parts of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday. People remained indoors.
