High tension prevails in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The high tension prevails as huge police forces were deployed at the main centres in Vijayawada.

The special police picketing has been arranged at Benz circle, Prakasam barrage, Kanaka Durgamma Varadhi roads which leads to Chandrababu Naidu's residence. The TDP leaders are being taken into custody by the police.

TDP Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani, MLC Dinesh Reddy, former minister Gollapalli Surya Rao, and KE Prabhakar were also taken into custody at Prakasam Barrage. All these leaders were shifted to One Town police station here in the city.
